Our Bill of Rights is not negotiable. It should be as simple as that but over time it has come to fruition that they are in fact for sale. By who you may ask, but after short examination the answer is everyone. Let us address specifically the post world war two era. After World War II America was left as one of the only countries that did not need to rebuild from any destruction. That being true it was a time of great industrial revolution and through our penny pinching and responsible spending and American ingenuity we lead the free world. Slowly but surely though the American people were sold the American dream. A house, a car, the white picket fence and all the conveniences that the mind could imagine. This in itself is not a bad thing, but at the time little did anyone know they were selling out liberty for convenience.

Charlton Heston is one of what I will call a patriots everyman. He supported civil rights, gun rights and the general conservative routine. He was a constitutional patriot from the get go. Looking back on Charlton Heston’s life and what he stood for one particular speech stood out. This man gave many speeches in support of life, liberty and the pursuit happiness, but this one seems to culminate all his experiences up to this point, and I feel that it applies greatly to our present situation with many patriots disheartened by our unfortunate state of affairs.
Charlton Heston made it obvious that the lack of personal responsibility on behalf of all citizens of this republic were to blame. He made it his mission throughout his life to reawaken the inner fires of liberty and the heritage that brought it to us as well as how to be vigilant in its defense. Please read on as I have attached a transcript of a very moving speech which Mr. Heston gave in reguards to “winning the cultural war”.

Something to think about the next time you consider any gun control a good thing…
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated. China established gun control in 1935.
From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated. Cambodia established gun control in 1956. It is extremely important that all states follow suit in rescinding their call for a Constitutional Convention if they have not already done so. I would encourage readers to contact their respective State Representative to urge their support for similar legislation. Full story here.

Wikipedia lists Leadership as the “process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task”. Alan Keith of Genentech states that, “Leadership is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute to making something extraordinary happen.”According to Ken “SKC” Ogbonnia , “effective leadership is the ability to successfully integrate and maximize available resources within the internal and external environment for the attainment of organizational or societal goals.” Leadership is a process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more cohesive and coherent.
Good leaders are made not born. If you have the desire and willpower, you can become an effective leader. Good leaders develop through a never ending process of self-study, education, training, and experience. Something I can look around and see that is not happening.

It is being reported that Orly Taitz may be running for public office in California. Supposedly, she is considering either running for Secretary of State or Attorney General. I have not been able to confirm the initial report because her website is shut down and is still being conveniently considered an “attack site”.
Just think of the possibilities of either of these offices being held by Dr. Taitz. Can you spell “Justice” in America? O-R-L-Y. She is trying to raise an initial $3,000 to kick off a campaign. That should be a piece of cake if we can help get the word out for her. See full story here.

This Article was written by Hillary’sMoralVoid originally for: http://www.freerepublic.com.
It started out innocently in a conversation with a well-connected Democrat friend who is now-disillusioned Obama voter.
We were discussing the Massachusetts election, and I joked that I didn’t know if the Democrats could stand another three years under Obama. He fired back that he and several of his friends didn’t know if they could stand ONE more year under Obama.
